Training Needs Analysis

Training Needs Analysis (TNA) is the process of identifying the areas or skills where employees require training and development. With a TNA exercise, companies can make sure that the capital invested in training their employees is well spent.

 

At Mdina, we take this stage of learning and development very seriously. We have extensive experience in TNAs through sampling and full 360-degree research. Our approach to TNAs is highly interactive and practical, always succeeding in extracting the real needs and issues to be addressed.

360 Feedback

We gather feedback from multiple employees and points of view in order to aid with employee and skill development.

Our findings are detailed, while clearly defined recommendations are made to agree on an effective way forward. 

Employees Voice

Before implementing consultancy or development solutions to help our clients, it is important to work hard to undercover the challenges that employees in an organisation face.

 

One approach we use is to conduct an anonymous employee survey called Employee's Voice, which is used across the board by SMEs to blue-chip multinational organisations.

Mystery Shopping

Mystery shopping is often used as a means of measuring quality of sales, customer care and the overall service provided by a business. Mystery shopping is an excellent exercise for client-focused businesses. This exercise evaluates the staff’s work performance and customer service in a critical and unbiased way.

 

Mdina Partners with the assistance of its partners, Business Leaders Malta, predetermines a list of criteria on the basis of which the staff’s efforts at dealing with customers are evaluated. Mystery shoppers are recruited to the task, which requires them to act as an authentic customer.

 

Feedback is given to the company on performance, skills and overall experience. Actions to be taken can also be suggested.

Field Accompaniment

Field accompaniment is an exercise whereby sales people are accompanied or observed as they approach prospects or customers and make sales visits or calls.

 

As part of the research phase of the Mdina 3-Stage Process, Mdina often offers accompanying sales people in sales visits, or shadowing operations in their day-to-day work, in order to identify their strengths, their needs as well as areas of improvement.

 

The results of this effective research are presented not only to management, but often to sales teams in an objective manner to consider improvements. Bespoke sales training and coaching will follow, based on the findings and recommendations.
