Eden Leisure Group is one of Malta’s leading entertainment organisations, employing 250 people across a range of business functions.
As the organisation continued to grow, the People’s team recognised the importance of developing internal talent and creating clearer pathways for progression. Mdina Partners partnered with Eden Leisure Group to help prepare a cohort of high-potential employees for future leadership roles through a structured development journey.
Eden Leisure Group wanted to strengthen its future leadership pipeline while continuing to attract and retain talented people within the organisation.
At the time, many participants were either newly stepping into leadership responsibilities or preparing to do so in the near future. While they demonstrated strong potential and operational capability, the organisation recognised the need to intentionally strengthen their leadership mindset, communication skills, confidence, and ability to lead people effectively.

A key priority was creating clearer pathways for internal growth and promotion. Rather than relying solely on external recruitment for leadership positions, Eden Leisure Group wanted to invest in high-potential employees early and prepare them to take on greater responsibility over time.
Through discussions with Eden Leisure Group and programme participants, Mdina Partners found that the challenge was not a lack of talent or ambition.
The organisation had already identified a cohort of high-potential individuals with the capability to become strong future leaders. The deeper need was to provide a structured development pathway that would help them build the confidence, mindset, and leadership skills required to successfully transition into leadership roles.
Several priorities emerged:
This meant the focus needed to be on building leadership capability over time, helping participants lead with greater confidence, collaboration, and impact.
Mdina Partners designed and delivered an Emerging Leaders Development Programme tailored to Eden Leisure Group’s future leadership goals.
The programme began with PRISM Brain Mapping for each delegate, helping participants better understand their behavioural preferences, communication styles, and leadership tendencies.
The development journey was divided into three core modules:
Each module consisted of four facilitated sessions focused on developing practical leadership skills and workplace application.

To encourage real-world application, participants were asked to present ideas on how they could continue to transform and improve the business through their roles at the conclusion of the programme.
The programme was delivered in partnership with Eden Leisure Group’s People Team and the first cohort of seven delegates.

The programme generated strong engagement from participants and positive feedback from both delegates and their direct managers.
Positive behavioural shifts and patterns were reported by participants as well as by their managers, reflecting increased confidence and stronger leadership capability across the cohort.
The success of the programme led to the launch of a second cohort, with a new intake continuing the development journey into 2026–2027.
The result was a stronger foundation for future leadership development, helping Eden Leisure Group continue investing in internal talent while preparing future leaders for long-term success.
