The Challenge

Compliance is a core value at Torrent Pharma Malta, and the organisation wanted to take a proactive approach to the upcoming EU Pay Transparency Directive.

Rather than waiting until the final stages of implementation, the organisation decided to begin its job evaluation journey approximately one year in advance. The goal was to ensure readiness, avoid last-minute surprises, and protect employee morale throughout the process.

Over just compliance, Torrent Pharma Malta wanted to ensure that roles, responsibilities, and reward structures were reviewed through a fair, transparent, and objective process.

What We Found

The organisation needed a structured and objective way to evaluate roles across the business while preparing for future pay transparency requirements.
